Hello! My name is Teresa Lee. I was born in New York, raised in California, and came to Georgia in 1996 to attend Spelman College. I graduated in 2000 with a degree in Political Science then attended UGA Law School.
In 2001 I had the amazing opportunity to teach Kindergarten overseas in N'djamena, Tchad. I loved it and have been teaching ever since. I received my Teacher Certification and Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education at Mercer University. This will be my 8th year teaching and my 6th year at the Neighborhood Charter School.
When I am not at school or furthering my own education, I love to travel to new places. I have been to 5 continents so far and am looking forward to traveling to Australia soon.
I am very excited about this upcoming school year and proud to be a member of the NCS community.
